MSRS Mourns the Passing of Life Member Chere A. Riordan.

The Mid Sussex Rescue Squad as well as the IRVFC and the IRVFC Ladies Auxillary are sadden to announce the passing of Chere A. Riordan listed below are the memorial service plans.

Chere has been actively serving the Long Neck Community for many years. At the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad she has served as our Squad as a NREMT, Board of Director, and has served as our President. And is one of our lifetime members. 

At the IRVFC and IRVFC Ladies Auxillary she has served as: Life Member & President (Ladies Auxillary). IRVFC Firefighter Asst. Secretary, Asst. Chaplain, Member of the Critical Incident Stress Management Team, Fund Drive Committee Chairperson, As well as obtaining her Instructor from the Delaware State Fire School.

Chere's Obituary will be forthcoming. Her respective funeral and memorial services will be as follows:

Friday, Feb 28th, 2025 @ Watson's Funeral Home, Millsboro DE 19966

Viewing Times- Commencing @10a. Service Times- Commencing @11a

Funeral Procession immediately following services for a Firefighters last call at IRVFC Station #1

Interment thereafter at the Millsboro Cemetery

Memorial Reception immediately after burial services at IRVFC Station #1
