Mid-Sussex
At 0016 hours, the Sussex County EOC alerted Indian River (80) and Station 91 for a MVC at the road construction site on John J. Williams Highway in the area of Baywood. A-91 was the first to arrive at 0020 hours finding a two vehicle MVC with vehicle off the roadway and patients out of the vehicle walking around. Crews from Indian River arrived and completed their assigned tasks. A-91 obtained patient refusals on two patients and were released by command.
Special note: just after going in quarters, 80 Command requested that we respond back for an injured construction worker. Apparently, a flagger was struck by a piece of flying debris from the eariler MVC. The flagger was transported to BMC by A-91.
