Mid-Sussex
Shortly after quarter past 7, units from the Long Neck area were dispatched for a Motor Vehcile Collision on John J. Williams Highway in the area of McDonalds. Within minutes, B and C-91 were responding and on location. Crews arrived to find a two-vehicle MVC with two patients in one vehicle, and a single patient in the second. Crews split off to assess each patient and found that two would need transport and one would refuse. Crew from Indian River arrived and completed the "door pop" to free the confined patient. Once this was completed, EMS crews collared and boarded the patients and removed them from the vehicle. Shortly before transport, the third patient who initially refused, decided to be transported. This brought A-91 to the scene to complete that assignment. All three units transported BLS patients to BMC. Crews cleared and were back in station within 90 minutes.
91-10 also responded.
