Mid-Sussex
Just after 1100 hours, Sussex EOC alerted Indian River (80) and Station 91 (for the second emergency) for a MVC on Long Neck Road in the area of Masseys Landing. C-91 was returning from the hospital and responded along with A-91 from the station. A-91 was the first unit to arrive at 1109 hours finding a vehicle that had struck a utility pole, veered across the road and struck a tree. The sole occupant was out the the vehicle sitting in a police cruiser. Crews from A-91 assessed the patient, and with the assistance of crews from Indian River, the patient was packaged and placed into A-91 for transport. A-91 transported the patient BMC with minor injuries. C-91 was cancelled prior to their arrival. Units responding, A and C-91, 80 Fire Units, DSP, DSFP.
