Mid-Sussex
Shortly after 1730 hours, Sussex EOC alerted Indian River Fire Dept (80), Station 91, Medic 106, and Trooper 2 for a MVC involving an ATV on Chris Drive in Oak Orchard West. 91-40 (Captain Johnson), 91-10, and C-91 responded within a minute. Initial reports indicated an ATV accident with possibly two patients. Sussex also advised that the best way to access the scene would be off of Jackson Drain Lane. 80-15 (Chief Deery) arrived at 1735 reporting an ATV accident with two patients on the gound, and established Command. The 91 units arrived shortly after and went to work triaging and treating the two patients. Crews from Mid Sussex confirmed two Priority One patients and requested an additional helicopter. As 80 units arrived, Command had them set up an LZ and assist Mid Sussex crews with patient care. One patient was transported by Delaware Trooper 2 to Christiana and the second patient was transported to PRMC by Maryland Trooper 4. Crews packed up and were placed in service when ready. Units responding 80 Fire Units, 91-40, 91-10, B and C-91, SCEMS 106 and 100, Delaware Trooper 2, Maryland Trooper 4, DSP, DSFP.
