2 Vehicle MVC with Mutiple Patients - John J. Williams Highway & Bayfarm Road

Shortly after 0830, units from Indian River (80), Mid Sussex, and Medic 106 were alerted for a MVC at John J. Williams Highway in front of Happy Harrys. C-91 and B-91 were on the street within a minute. Sussex advised a two vehicle collision with possibly one patient. Sussex also advised of possible entrapment. C-91 arrived within two minutes to find a two vehicle MVC with both vehicles in the roadway with two patients still in the vehicle. After further investigation, crews found three patients (one ALS, two BLS) with one trapped. This information was relayed to 80-15 (Deery) who had Command. Chief Deery then requested a third BLS unit bringing B-82 to the scene. Crews from Indian River had the door popped and the patient extricated within ten minutes of their arrival. B-91, and B-82 both transported a BLS patient while Medic C-91 transported the ALS patient. Units on scene, B-91, C-91, 91-40, 80 Fire Units, B-82, Medic 106, DSP, DSFP.
