Motor Vehicle Accident - River Road itao Riverside Inn

At 1320 the Sussex EOC alerted Indian River and Station 91 for a MVC on River Road in the area of Riverside Inn. Captain Johnson (91-40) arrived on scene within minutes of dispatch to find a pickup truck that had collided with a dump truck, with heavy front damage to the pickup with entrapment. Captain immediately requested a medic and avation to respond and advised 80 Command of the situation. Indian River units arrived along with C-91 and crews assisted with patient care and extrication. The patient was quickly extricated and transferred to the ambulance. C-91 transported the patient to a landing zone close to the scene where DSP Trooper 2 transported the patient to CER. Units on location, 91-40, C-91, 80 Fire Units, EMS 100, Trooper 2, DSP, DSFP.
