The following are the 2008 yearly stats for EMS responses for the Rescue Squad. 1742 EMS Runs (up 10% over 07 and up 60% from 01) 1349 Patients Transported 17 Volunteer Crew Response 1290 Paid Crew Response 435 Combination Vol/Pd Response 1461.5 Unit Inservice Hours 3017 Man Hours Inservice 21695 Miles Travelled 103 Out of District Responses 101 Scratches (5.5% off all runs dispatched) Some highlights for 2008 Added a third EMT from 0800-1600 to allow us to handle mutiple runs in our district easier and quicker, Placed a new state of the art ambulance inservice, and ordered an additional ambulance due here in March of 2009, Brought in several new volunteer members, 10 of those members are now taking the EMT class to become certified and increase our staffing levels. The officers and membership would like to thank the community for your generous donations that allow us to have state of the art equipment and the best employees to serve.
