Mobile Data Terminals go Live at Station 91 - Station 91

Earlier in the week, members from the Sussex County EOC came to the Station to load their software into our computer for the new CAD project. Mid Sussex was chosen as one of the five test sites in the county to test the system. The new system will allow us to communicate with the EOC and provide us with mapping and real time GPS. With the system, the EOC will know our units exact location giving them the ability to send units to calls based on their current locations. Currently, we have one unit in place with plans to add additional units at the end of the test period if the County allows it. The project is a joint effort with the Sussex County EOC, EMS, and IT departments, with assistance from the SCVFA. Mid Sussex would like to thank those who made this possible.
