Mid-Sussex
Just prior to 0200, Sussex County EOC alerted Indian River (80), Lewes (82), Millsboro (83), Station 91, and Medic 106 for a reported working structure fire on River Road in the area of Satterfield Mobile Home Park. C-91 responded within minutes along with 80-Command. While responding, units were advised of a two story house believed to be involved with exposures to several other structures and that Sussex was receiving several calls. Engine 80-1 with Chief Deery was the first unit to arrive with Command just behind reporting several structures involved with several other exposures. C-91 staged at Oak Orchard Road and River Road to allow access for responding fire units. Deputy Chief Millman (91-42) who is also a Captain with the RBVFC began to evacuate two exposure trailers on the "D" side of the fire. As other units arrived, the fire was knocked down and 91 units were moved up to the fire scene to provide rehab if needed. C-91 stoodby on scene with no patients until released by 80 Command. Units on scene, 80, 73, 82, 83, 86 Fire units, C-91, 91-40, Medic 106, and EMS 100.
