Mid Sussex obtains RAD 57 - Odessa Fire Co.

Thanks to a Federal Grant facilitated by the Odessa Fire Co., Mid Sussex was able to obtain five (5) RAD 57 CO monitors. The addition of this equipment will greatly enhance our ability to detect and treat Carbon Monoxide poisioning. This equipment will also be used at fire scenes while rehabbing firefighters. Odessa Fire Co. requested and received a Federal Grant to assist with the purchases of the devices. This grant was made available to all fire and EMS companies in the state. With the grant, our total costs for the five (5) devices equal what it would of cost for one device without the grant.
