Serious MVC - Long Neck Road and Rt. 24

Just after 0930 hours, units from Indian River Fire (80), Station 91, Medic 106, and Trooper 2 were alerted for a serious MVC involving a motorcycle at the above location. B-91 was the first unit to arrive two minutes later to find a motorcyclist that had been struck by an SUV with a priority 1 patient. Medic 106 and 91-40 arrived and assisted with patient care. Fire units arrived and conducted traffic and crowd control and also secured a landing zone for Trooper 2. One BLS patient was transported by C-91 to BMC, and the Priority 1 patient flew to Christiana ER. Units cleared when releasd by Command. Units responding, 80 Fire units, B and C-91, 91-40, Medic 106, EMS 100, Trooper 2, DSP.
