Mid-Sussex
Just after 1900 hours, units from Indian River Fire Co., Station 91, Medic 106, and Trooper 2 were alerted for a serious MVC at the above intersection. First arriving unit was Chief Johson (91-40) who advised a two vehicle MVC with at least one entrapped and one ejected. Chief Johnson immediately requested additional BLS units and a second helicopter. B-91 arrived next and split the crew and began treating the two priority 1 patients. As additional resouces arrived, fire unit began extrication and EMS crews packaged all patients for transport. In all, two patients were flown and four patients were taken by ground to BMC. Units remained on scene until released by 80 Command. Units responding, 80 Fire Units, B-91, 91-40, Ambs. 82, 83, 86, Medic 106, EMS 100, Trooper 2, Lifenet, DSP, DSFP.
