Mid Sussex Places New Duty Vehicle Inservice - Station 91

The officers and members of Mid Sussex would like to announce the Department has received, and will be placing a new Duty Vehicle inservice. The unit is a 2011 Chevy Suburban that will be equipped with basic life support first responder equipment and an AED. The new unit will also have the capability of transporting a patient if needed due to inclement weather or if a patient is in an area where four wheel drive is needed to transport. The officers anticipate placing the new unit inservice sometime early next week. The new unit will be known as 91-8 and will replace a 1999 duty vehicle that will be retained as a backup unit as well as a personnel transport unit for meetings and training classes.
