Final Inspection of New Ambulance - Grove City, OH

On Thursday, February 15, and Friday February 16, Chief Johnson, Deputy Chief Millman, Chief Engineer Johnson, and President Johnson along wih Pete Laake Jr. (President of Fesco Emergency Vehicles) made the trip out to the Horton plant in Grove City, OH to complete the final inspection of our new 2011 International / Horton ambulance. Members inspected the unit Thursday and Friday and then drove the vehicle back to Fesco in Elkridge, Maryland where the vehicle will be lettered and have equipment mounted. Once complete, the vehicle will be displayed at the EMS Today Conference in Baltimore from February 29th through March 2. The unit will then be delivered to Long Neck.
