Mid-Sussex
Just after 1500 crews from Indian River Fire Co., Station 91, Medic 106, and Trooper 2 were alerted to a serious MVC at the above address. Shortly after dispatch, a probation and parole officer in the area advised the EOC of a four vehicle accident with multiple patients. At this point Sussex upgraded to a level 1 MCI bringing an ambulance out of Lewes (82) and Millsboro (83). Medic 116 was the first unit to arrive confirming entrapment and a total of four patients. B and C 91 arrived and began treating patients and packaging for transport. 80 fire units arrived and began extrication of the trapped patients. A total of two patients were transported by ground and one by Trooper 2. Command placed the situation under control and released units as ready. Units responding, B, C-91, 80 fire units, Ambulances 82, 83, Medic 106, Medic 116, EMS 100, EMS 25, DSFP, DSP, Trooper 2.
