Motor Vehicle Collision - John J. Williams Hwy near Indian Summer Village

Saturday, February 9th at 11:49, Mid-Sussex Rescue Squad was alerted for a vehicle collision on John J. Williams Highway near Indian Summer Village. Units from the Indian River Fire Company were already on scene when B-91 arrived. Once on scene EMS crew from Mid-Sussex Rescue Squad began to evaluate and assess the patients of both vehicles. After evaluating and assessing the patients from each vehicle the EMS crew obtained patient refusal from each patient. It appeared that both vehicles, a Toyota Camry and a Jeep Renegade were traveling East on John J. Williams Highway when the Toyota Camry was struck from behind by the Jeep Renegade. Delaware State Police is investigating the accident.
