MVC Vehicle vs School Bus

Shortly after 1500 hours, Sussex EOC alerted Indian River (80) Station 91, Ambulances 82 and 83, Medic 106, and EMS-100 for a MVC involving a school on Long Neck Rd. in the area of Pot Nets Creekside.  B-91 and 91-8 with Deputy Chief Millman arrived within three minutes to find a suv that had been rearended by a school bus.  Crews split to check both the occupant of the suv and the bus.  One patient was found in the car and removed to the awaiting ambulance for transport.  No one on the bus was injured.  80 Fire Units arrived and assisted EMS with packaging and loading the patient and securing the vehicle.  Asst. Chief Mock (80-16) placed the situation under control and cleared all units.  Units responding, 80 Fire units, B-91, 91-8, B-82, B-83, Medic 106, EMS 200, DSP, DSFP, Indian River School District.
