MVC with Injuries

At 1238 hours, Sussex EOC alerted Indian River Fire (80) and Station 91 for a motor vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Sandpiper Dr. & John J. Williams Hwy.  Chief Johnson (91-40) arrived within two minutes of dispatch and found a two vehicle accident with one patient.  B and C-91 arrived minutes later and assessed the occupants of all vehicles.  One patient was transported and two refusals were obtained.  80 Fire units arrived, secured both vehicles and provided traffic control throughout the incident.  B-91 transported to Beebe and C-91 cleared when released by Command.  Units responding B-91, C-91, 91-40, 80 Fire Units, DSP, DSFP.
