Mid-Sussex
Long Neck, DE — This past Labor Day weekend, the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad proudly supported the community by providing standby medical coverage for the annual fireworks display held at Pot-Nets Beach and Paradise Grill.
As a nonprofit Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance company, our mission is to ensure the safety and well-being of our neighbors during community events and emergencies alike. With hundreds of visitors gathering to enjoy the celebration, our presence at the event helped provide peace of mind that trained medical personnel were ready to respond if needed.
The standby assignment was made possible thanks to the dedicated efforts of our volunteer members, who coordinated schedules, prepared equipment, and gave their time during a busy holiday weekend. Their service exemplifies the spirit of community care that is the foundation of the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.
Mid Sussex Rescue Squad is proud to serve our community and looks forward to continuing to provide professional, compassionate care—whether at major community gatherings or during everyday emergencies.
